Keep signs of aging at bay with Cellex-C

By Al Varela

Dear Al: I've heard a lot about a skin-care cream that contains Vitamin C to help reduce wrinkles. Does this really work, and what do you think about it?

You can't think of Vitamin C without thinking of something that is healthy, good and necessary for your body. And wanting to maintain and improve all parts of your body, including your skin, is an excellent priority.

As the largest organ of your body, the skin has always been known to be the logical passageway for nutrients and medicines to enter the body. The sun's rays, smoking, stress, pollution and even normal eating and drinking are more damaging to the skin than just the passage of time. All of these factors contribute to the breakdown of collagen in your skin, by what are known as free radicals.

Collagen is the substance that keeps skin firm. And, free radicals destroy Vitamin C, without which the body cannot maintain its collagen. This then is where wrinkles of the skin take a hold.

There are numerous Vitamin C-based topical cosmetics available on the market today. However, not all preparations containing Vitamin C are effective. Simply applying Vitamin C to your skin will not work.

While researching a cure for cancer in 1986, cell biologist Dr. Lorraine Meisner, made a scientific breakthrough in the anti-aging vitamin technology field.

A line of skin-care products, Cellex C, combined the patented complex that delivers a stable, effective form of Vitamin C therapy to the skin. The anti-oxidants protection in the product are what make the improvements in the firmness, texture and tone of the skin. In addition, this protection makes it possible to stimulate collagen synthesis.

I have seen the positive results women have realized using Cellex C. To achieve maximum results, however, this cream must be used in conjunction with a proper daily cleansing, toning and moisturizing regimen for the skin. All of these steps are what helps repair the skin, and aims to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles on your face.

So, Cellex C might just be the "juice" you need to complete your skin care routine and give your skin a healthful, sunny look.
